C4D Quick Tip – Shadow Correction

Today’s quick tip is about rendering a multi-pass with shadows in Cinema 4D.

Say I want to render out a shadow pass for this sexy sandwich down below.
I’d go into my render setting and click the check box next to multi-pass and add shadows, right? For the most part, yes.  If you render this out and take a look at your shadow pass it does not look right at all – there is no shadow on the olive or bread, the shadow is barely on the meat, it just looks awful.  What you have to do to fix this problem is go into your render setting, click on “Multipass,” and then click the check box for “Shadow Correction.”

Thats it. Re-render and take a look, should look pretty good now.
