The Bend Deformer.
The Bend Deformer is very easy to use, here is how it’s set up.
It’s really as simple as that. All you have to do is put the Deformer underneath your object in the hierarchy. One thing to keep in mind, if you are using just basic geometry, for example a cube, make sure you add some segments. It can’t bend if there are no segments to bend.
Size – Changes the size of the Deformer.
Strength – How far the Deformer is bent.
Angle – The angle at which the Deformer is bent.
Keep Y-Axis Length – If unchecked the object will stretch, if checked the object with stay at it’s original length.
Mode – There are three modes that you can pick from – Limited, Within Box, Unlimited.
- Limited – Everything inside of the Deformer is bent and everything outside of the deformer is moved to stay with the object.
- Within Box – Everything inside of the Deformer is bent but everything outside of the deformer stays exactly where it was
- Unlimited – Everything inside and outside of the deformer is bent
